Chargemaster Consultant

Blue and Co., LLC is currently seeking a Chargemaster (CDM)/Revenue Integrity Consultant to join our growing team. This position’s core functions include assisting our team with various CDM-related projects, such as:

Conducting comprehensive CDM reviews for hospitals, performing charge capture audits, providing actionable recommendations to enhance revenue integrity, and collaborating with hospital staff to implement changes and ensure compliance.

The successful candidate should possess a sense of urgency, the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, a consultative mindset as a trusted advisor and service provider, solid relationship-building skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and an objective yet persuasive approach.

Position Requirements:

Minimum three years of CDM or revenue integrity experience, focusing on charge capture compliance. A clinical background (e.g., nursing, IR/cath lab, respiratory therapy) within the hospital setting is a plus. Solid understanding of hospital billing systems and the CDM revenue cycle.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance. Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities across multiple projects.High level of commitment to ensuring superior customer satisfaction.Coding certified or willingness to become certified after employment.Willingness to travel, primarily to regional clients, prospects, or events.Residence within our core region: Indianapolis, IN; Cincinnati, OH; Louisville, KY; Columbus, OH.
