Our  HNI Workplace Furnishings Development Program is designed to develop emerging early career business professionals, preparing you for future growth opportunities within our organization in various marketing functions. The program is designed to jump start your career through a specialized onboarding plan and a rotational experience. We provide foundational knowledge about our business, direct exposure to leadership, and opportunities to develop cohort relationships through cross-functional team projects. Throughout the program you will gain valuable skills, enhance your business communications and collaboration skills, and can develop cohort relationships.

As the Marketing Development Program Associate, you will join our Marketing team based at headquarters in Muscatine, IA. The Marketing team is a fast-paced, highly visible team with a vision and passion for implementing solutions and exceeding our customers’ expectations. As a member of this team, you will gain experience assisting with product launch efforts, competitive research, and ideation of new marketing solutions.

Once you’ve completed the rotational development program, you’ll be prepared for a role likely within one of the rotational functions. Where you will begin will be in part based on your talents and strengths, your interests, and available roles upon program completion.

Graduate with a bachelor’s degree required. All majors welcome. Commitment to continuous development and ability to receive open feedback Dedicated team-player, strong communication, interpersonal and time-management skills Strong academic record and extracurricular experience Self-starter who thrives on problem-solving and embraces change Openly collaborates within a cross-functional team environment At least one year of general work experience preferred, including intern/externships
