Schedule Details:  Five, 8 hours shifts (M-F) with every third holiday staffing rotation (1 major and 1 minor). No scheduled weekends. 

Assists in directing and training Pharmacy Technician 1 and Pharmacy Technician 2 roles. They work under direct supervision of Registered Pharmacists and/or higher level Pharmacy Technicians.

Responsibilities:

• All duties defined for the Pharmacy Tech 1 and Pharmacy Tech 2 Roles.
• Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical classification of drugs and dosage range.
• Ability to provide guidance and/or train others
• Ability and willingness to take on extra projects
• Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
• Detail oriented and master of follow-through
• Works under minimal supervision

• Provides training for Pharmacy Technicians I and II as needed
• Development of training materials for all pharmacy staff
• Coordination of all pharmacy technician students and Project Search Interns
• Provides support to all pharmacies for IT issues and concerns
• Oversight of operations on daily basis with ongoing communication to leadership
• Makes recommendations for workflow improvements
• Advanced projects assigned by leadership

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent CPhT certification required upon hire or within 2 years of hire. State of Wisconsin Pharmacy Tech registry required or ability to obtain at time of hire.  Hazardous Sterile Compounding is required.  Must be at Senior Tech competencies to be assigned at Oconomowoc and Mukwonago as a primary site.
