Shipping & Receiving (Floater) - Nights (M-F, 4pm-1am)

Primary Purpose
Shipping & Receiving Floater will help in all areas of the guard shack and glass house responsibilities. Help fill in different areas as needed.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Coordinate all traffic into facility.
- Greet and sign-in guests.
- Work with drivers and visitors to the facility daily.
- Evaluate manifests (shipping documents) upon arrival.
- Work with plant personnel to coordinate all truck movements.
- Log and review all inbound and out-bound shipments and papers.
- Communicate with Clerical Supervisor and Customer Service regarding profile problems.
- Scan Manifest(s) into MMS for internal purposes.
- Maintain various logbooks (Outbound log for liquids, solids, residual material on returning out-bound shipments, visitors, contractors, etc.)
- Primary data logging and manifest correcting (troubleshooting and editing)

Education: High School or its equivalent required.
Experience: Experience within the transportation industry or experience in a shipping/receiving/guard position is preferred.
Knowledge and Abilities: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
A post offer drug screen will be required.
