Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Substitute Teacher As a Substitute Teacher, you will teach classes using the curriculum provided by the school on a temporary basis. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. Responsibilities: 
  • Follow lesson plans left by the teacher or principal
  • Prepare any necessary learning materials
  • Assign homework
  • Take attendance
  • Grade assignments and provide feedback
  • Track students’ progress and document for the regular classroom teacher.
  • Report behavioral incidents.
Qualifications: 
  • Possess a High School Diploma, Associates, Bachelors or Graduate Degree.
  • Previous experience as a substitute teacher is preferred.
  • Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
  • Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
