As a Maintenance/Facilities Manager, you will be ensuring safe and continuous availability of manufacturing equipment and facility through planned and unplanned maintenance activities. You will supervise the day-to-day maintenance employees, maintenance issues, electrical maintenance, and preventative maintenance.

So, what will you be doing as a(n) Maintenance Manager?

Supervise maintenance employees. Oversee and ensure the effectiveness of the plant maintenance program. Responsible for safe and effective troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of electrical equipment. Responsible for preventive maintenance scheduling and training of personnel. Attend scheduled safety meetings and following prescribed safety rules. Notify foreman about any unsafe working conditions. Aid in the upkeep of ISO documents that pertain to your job. Utilize Manager Plus program for regular maintenance duties. Coordinates maintenance activities with outside vendors. Work with the EHS Manager to ensure all OSHA and L&P safety policies are being carried out. Other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Trained Technician or bachelor’s degree in technical studies, facility management, or similar field Minimum of 5 years related experience in Maintenance Management operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Able to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives. PLC trouble shooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude. Experience in people management 2-3 years of experience in high volume manufacturing environment Mechanical and electrical experience with related equipment Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and implementation of maintenance plans Hands-on mentality and ability to coordinate between multiple assignments. Working knowledge of MS Office and Maintenance software Knowledge of legal requirements for building and equipment Analytical and structured working style Very good problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
