The  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care /Assisted Living regulations and follows established policies and procedures. Supported by a Director of Health Services RN, RN's, Executive Director, Resident Assistants and other interdisciplinary team members. Located at Stonehaven Senior Living in Eagan, MN.

40 hours every two weeks Day shift Includes every other weekend and holiday Partial Benefit Eligible: (paid time off, matching retirement monies, Cash Out Wages Before Payday with our New Benefit of Early Wage Access)

Provides professional nursing care Carries out proper charting practices and prodedure Assists RN in adherence to medication administration procedures Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff Maintains current observation and documentation of tenant/resident health status

Required:

Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree:  LPN LPN Licensure/Registered with the MN Board of Nursing

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice

Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone & fax machine

Preferred:

One to three years of previous experience Proficient in Eldermark computer documentation software
