What You'll Do

As a Groundskeeper, you’ll:

Cuts grass, weeds, brush and shrubs with mowers and hand toolsWater plants, cultivates trees and plants, rakes leaves, weeds flower beds, etc.Prepare planting areas for flowers, shrubs and trees.Apply pesticides as directed.Assist in the repair and maintenance of equipmentPerforms other job-related duties as assigned from time to time.

What it Takes

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.Related experience preferred, but not required.Ability to use routine hand and power tools, exercise common courtesy, and understand and follow instructions.Knowledge of irrigation systems, ability to perform mechanical repairs, and familiarity with plant/tree pests and diseases preferred, but not required.Able to lift up to 50 pounds as neededValid Wisconsin driver’s licenseAvailable to work irregular hours/days to meet deadlines or accommodate weather conditions, which may be flexible up to 40 hours per week.
