Position Description:

As an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge AI and ML solutions to address complex business problems. You will lead a team of engineers and data scientists to develop innovative algorithms, models, and systems that drive business growth and efficiency. Your expertise in AI and ML technologies will be essential in guiding the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable and robust AIML solutions.

**This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in any CGI office, and candidates must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone hours.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design and develop high-level architectural frameworks for AI and ML solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
Lead the design and development of advanced machine learning models to solve business challenges, leveraging techniques such as deep learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
Evaluate new AI and ML technologies, frameworks, and tools to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in existing systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize projects, and drive successful implementation of AIML solutions.
Optimize models for performance, scalability, and efficiency, considering factors such as computational resources, latency, and memory constraints.
Work closely with Data Scientist, ML & data engineers to ensure the availability, quality, and relevance of data for training and evaluation of AI and ML models.
Lead the deployment of AIML solutions into production environments, integrating with existing systems and processes while ensuring security, reliability, and maintainability.
Document architectural designs, algorithms, models, and implementation details, and effectively communicate technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Proven experience 10 years in designing and implementing AI and ML solutions, with a focus on architecting scalable systems.
Expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including object-oriented design, design patterns, and software architecture.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence technical decisions.
Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; Master's preferred.
