Must-Have- DB2 installation onLUW OS platform, configuring HADR databases with TSA cluster, DB2 DB upgradesand applying Fix-Pack, Hands on experience in writing/troubleshooting shellscripts/perl/python
Good-to-Have Knowledge of Cloud computingtechnologies (GCP- preferred)
Responsibility-
·Perform day-to-day administration of DB2databases, including backup/recovery, capability planning and performancetuning.
·Very good knowledge about DB2 Architecture
·Configuring HADR databases with TSA cluster andmonitoring
·Upgrading DB2 databases to latest versions
·Applying latest Fix-Packs as per requirements
·Monitor database performance and recommendimprovements for operational efficiency
·Database performance tuning by configuring db2registry/ dbm /db cfg parameters
·Good knowledge in Linux operating system andhands on experience in writing shell scripts/perl/python, with this scriptingknowledge, should explore automating the repetitive tasks
·Refine and automate regular processes, trackissues and document changes
·Independently analyze, solve, and correct issuesin real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution
·Capacity planning, space management and datamaintenance activities for database system. Perform database enhancement andmodification as per the requirements.
·Global On-call Support including weekend
·Regular Connect with Client
·Willing to learn and work on other Opensource/DB technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL
·Knowledge of ITSM process and ticketing toollike ServiceNow
