Responsibilities:
• Attend to approximately 8-10 patients per half day
• Provide comprehensive Gastroenterology care, including clinical services and procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound, and ERCP.
• Performing emergent procedures including GI bleeding, food boluses, foreign bodies, abdominal pain,
• Offer consultative services to patients at the clinic
• Notify patients of their test results promptly.
• Deliver discharge education and follow-up instructions, coordinating with the next care setting for Gastroenterology patients.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and attend committee meetings as required by the facility's Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or their designee.
• Strive to prevent medication errors, falls, and patient injuries during care delivery.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
