About this opportunity:

Join Ericsson as an RF Engineer to leverage your technical knowledge for the analysis, audit, design, and optimization of our advanced telecom networks. You will directly support our New Product Introduction team on exciting new projects. This vital role spans across various domains, such as RAN, Transport, Core, OM and Services Networks. You will be engaged right from the pre-sales of our services and networks, through delivery and acceptance. Your deep technical insights and innovative approach will be essential in delivering high-quality network designs, audits and optimizations to meet our exacting standards and customers' needs.

What you will do:

Perform integration, certification, and implementation of 4G LTE/5G technology into customers’ lab facilities and first market application(s) Demonstration of new functionality, and SW/HW capabilities Perform proof of concept with customers for pre-commercial products and next generation Radio access technology equipment Support Ericsson NPI project, involving integration, configuration, features and functionalities, troubleshooting, inconsistences, and testing on roadmap portfolio Ericsson for BBU (baseband units), and Radios on different technologies/bands operation Resolve technical issues and serve as point of contact towards the Customer Project Manager (CPM), customer, and PDU throughout the project Participate in lab testing, working closely with CPM and customer to define the scope of work, resource plan, timeline Test Object List (TOL), and risk assessment Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve technical problems in existing networks Prepare and present reports for customer acceptance of Feature Testing and act as liaison between customer and Ericsson

The skills you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 5 years of experience to include: working with LTE (Long Term Evolution) & NR (New Radio) RAN (Radio Access Network) software and hardware products including radio and baseband units; integration, certification, and implementation of 4G LTE/5G technology into customers’ lab facilities and production network; and interfacing with customer for troubleshooting and supporting RAN products 3 years of experience to include: integration, configuration, testing, and validation of NSA NR (Non-Standalone New Radio), SA NR (Standalone New Radio), Carrier aggregation, 4G/5G High Band, Mid-Band, and Low Band technologies, network architecture, and call flows; utilizing protocol verification tools: QXDM, XCAL, or XCAP; and testing end-to-end features, First Market Applications (FOAs), schedule adherence, milestone criteria adherence, contractual adherence, interoperability, and back-office integration
