Job Position: CNC Machinist

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating HAAS CNC mills and possess comprehensive machining skills, requiring minimal supervision. This role involves setting up and operating both CNC lathes and manual mills, programming CNC machines, and ensuring high-quality output within acceptable time frames.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate HAAS CNC mills.
  • Perform all machinist responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Set up and run CNC lathes and manual mills.
  • Operate CNC equipment and edit CNC programs as necessary.
  • Program CNC machines effectively.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and recommend fabrication process improvements.
  • Consistently produce high-quality work within expected time frames.
  • Apply tooling knowledge accurately and effectively.
  • Read and interpret blueprints proficiently.
  • Perform hand layout and drilling tasks.
  • Communicate with the Engineering team and suggest improvements to machine blueprints.
  • Pursue self-improvement through continued education and training.
  • Undertake additional tasks as requested by the supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of machining experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
  • Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
