A Brief Overview
Assists nursing staff with mobilization of patients. Helping patients and encouraging ADL activities

What you will do

Mobilizing Patients Patient care Collaboration/Teamwork with Nursing and Physical/Occupational Therapy and other departments as needed

Skills and Abilities

Able to understand all verbal and written communication instructions (Required proficiency) Able to record specific simple data (Required proficiency) Good time management and interpersonal skills. (Required proficiency) Physically, cognitively and perceptually able to provide patient treatment and able to assist in physical mobility of patients and equipment. (Required proficiency)

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Education Qualifications

High School Equivalent / GED with experience in vocational education as a nursing assistant Preferred

Experience Qualifications

Experience as nursing assistant or related area in a health care facility Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Preferred
