Orthopaedic Associates is currently accepting resumes for a PRN MRI Tech to cover Fort Walton Beach, Destin or Crestview location as needed.
Current ARRT certification required.
Experience required.
Orthopaedic experience preferred. 

Job Type: PRN

Responsibilities

  • Utilize magnetic resonance for the purpose of detecting pathology
  • Perform MRI  as directed by a clinic provider.
  • Operate equipment safely
  • Maintain the safety and integrity of the MRI suites
  • Establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationships with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff

Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of MRI quality control procedures and the ability to troubleshoot problems with equipment or exams
  • ARRT RT (R)(MR) with current license Required
  • BLS
  • Experience in a physician's office, clinic or other health care setting is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology 
  • Capable of operating or learning to operate automated systems and other office equipment
  • Must possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills'

Healthcare setting:

  • Outpatient

Schedule:

  • Flexible  hours between 6-6pm for coverage and overflow of scans
  • Day shift- most days
  • Monday to Friday
  • No call

Experience:

  • Medical Imaging: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • ARRT Certification (Required)

  • Fort Walton, Destin, Crestview,  FL
