Educational Diagnostician

Job Title: Educational Diagnostician
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (typically 7:30am-4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations for students in need of special education services
• Interpret test results, assess learning strengths and weaknesses, and recommend appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and goals
• Travel between the 4 different districts regularly to provide services to students

Qualifications:

• Texas Certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with diverse student populations
