Description:

We are seeking a licensed and registered Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray procedures to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of routine and specialized X-Ray procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety in accordance with ARRT and IEMA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of X-Ray procedures following established protocols and adjusting technical factors as required.
  • Administer oral and/or IV contrast as necessary for imaging procedures.
  • Assist physicians during procedures as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of procedures according to hospital guidelines.
  • Maintain supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure readiness and availability.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, professional standards, and radiation safety protocols including ALARA principles.
  • Demonstrate courteous and respectful communication with patients and colleagues.
Requirement Description:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist - REQUIRED
  • Certification in X-Ray - REQUIRED
  • Experience with client-specific equipment - REQUIRED
  • Proficiency in imaging neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • Current COVID and flu vaccinations required; declinations will not be approved. Please indicate vaccination status in the profile.
  • Preferred experience with Cerner and Change Healthcare PACS systems.
  • Illinois IEMA license required or willingness to obtain.

  • Active certifications (Xray ARRT License)
  • Illinois IEMA license (does not need to be active at time of submission but willingness to obtain)
