What it's like to be a Clinic Nurse Assistant/ Support Specialist (DSP)

As a Clinic Nurse Assistant/Support Specialist (DSP) at RTC Services, you can expect a fulfilling and engaging day-to-day experience Each day will be packed with purpose as you provide compassionate support to clients, assisting with their daily needs and enhancing their overall well-being. You'll help with vital tasks like monitoring client health, managing documentation, and implementing care plans while fostering a welcoming and safe environment.

To thrive as a Clinic Nurse Assistant/Support Specialist (DSP) at RTC Services, you'll need a unique blend of skills and experience that align with our mission of empowering individuals. A solid background in the healthcare field is essential, particularly with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care. Proficiency in administering medications and taking vital signs will be critical to providing exceptional client support.

Basic knowledge of software and tools will enhance your efficiency in documentation and communication with the team. Strong outgoing personality with interpersonal skills are a must, as you'll engage with clients and their families, fostering trust and compassion. Additionally, effective time management and organizational skills will ensure you can meet the diverse needs of those you serve.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Experience in the healthcare field especially with:

  • ADL's
  • personal care
  • administering meds
  • taking vitals
