The Material Program Manager (MPM) is a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills. The candidate for this position must be a self-starter, capable of supporting and executing organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier management. The MPM is the single point of contact to management and to internal customers, including Program Office, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Contracts. The candidate will represent the Supply Chain organization on policies, strategies, and objectives, oversee all SCM activities needed to meet program requirements, and ensures a strong link within and between various Supply Chain functions, including Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control. The position requires an individual who is persistent in influencing others to execute their responsibilities on time and escalates as requires achieving schedules.

What You Will Do

Develop and execute Material Program Plans, Subcontract Management Plans, and other strategic planning tools Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity plans to meet program commitments & proactively manage mitigation plans Supporting financial management reviews using Earned Value Management through the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Collaborate with Supply Chain functions for support, as needed Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for gate reviews Oversight of subcontractor execution performance Forecasting material sales and meeting commitments

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."

Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain or similar Active Secret Clearance A working knowledge of MRP systems, including SAP and Kinaxis Ability to lead efforts, including budgeting and financial management, issue and conflict resolution Experience in a Matrix organizational structure Experience with Project Management

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
