Job Description:

Soliant Education is seeking compassionate and dedicated Paraprofessionals to join our team in the Willow Point, AL area for the 2024-2025 school year. As a Paraprofessional, you will have the opportunity to work with students in grades K-12, providing support and assistance to help them succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional activities and strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Help students with tasks such as completing assignments, organizing materials, and staying focused during lessons.
  • Support students with special needs by implementing accommodations outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student behavior and assist with behavior management strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the success and well-being of students.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
  • Ability to follow directions and maintain confidentiality.
