Childcare istant

Our Childcare Center is looking for a ChildcareAssistant to be a part of our team. You will be working closelywith the Child Care Teacher in taking care of young children. Youwill be responsible for keeping a constant check on the childrenand reporting any emergencies.

As a ChildcareAssistant you should ensure a safe and positive learningenvironment. Besides you should also be able to assist with thedevelopment and implementation of various learning programs. Yourjob responsibilities will also include keeping the learning areaclean and hygienic at all times.

To be able toperform in this job role you should have proven experience in achildcare or similar educational facility. Moreover you should befamiliar with child development techniques and have basic first aidknowledge. A candidate who is highly motivated creative and patientwill be considered.

• Constantly monitoring andsupervising the children
• Coordinating dailytasks with the Child Care Teacher
• Helpingchildren with their meals and snacks

• Greeting parents andkeeping them uptodate with their childs progress
• Keeping an eye on the children duringplayground activities
• Reporting anyemergencies to the Child Care Teacher
• Ensuringa positive and safe learning environment for the children
• Assisting in the development of learningprograms that foster overall childs growth

• Ensuring that the legalguidelines and health and safety policies are followed at all times
• Participating in parentteacher meetings andoffering suggestions as and when required
• Acknowledging and responding to differentdevelopmental and behavioral levels exhibited by children
• Ensuring that the learning area is kept cleanand safe at all times

• High school diploma or a Bachelorsdegree in any field
• Certification in EarlyChildhood Education or equivalent
• Proven workexperience as a Childcare Assistant Child Care Provider or asimilar role in a Child Care Facility or a Preprimary School
• Basic knowledge and training in providingfirst aid
• Familiarity with various childdevelopment techniques
