We are currently seeking a Dining Services Supervisor to collaborate with our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals and guide our clients in their recovery journey. Kitchen Supervisor starts at $15.00 Per Hour. 

Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:

• Train new hires and delegate tasks.
• Lead weekly meetings, review team performance and provide feedback and suggestions.
• Observe patient food intake and report to dietician.
• Prepare large (30+ persons) meals, following recipes and determining group food quantities.
• Supervise food production, ensure menus are followed and control food portions.
• Assist dietician in food selection, preparation, or menu planning, based upon nutritional needs and established guidelines.
• Analyze menus, standardize recipes, and test new products.
• Schedule for all kitchen staff employees.
• Input Meal count sheets on SmartSheet daily.
• Ensure maintenance of a clean and sanitized kitchen in compliance with all health codes.
• Maintain organization in all storage areas, take weekly inventory and place food orders.
• Work with Corporate Food Service on distributing food surveys.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.

Technical Competencies:

Good Hygiene. Cleanliness of the kitchen. Portion control. Knowledge of CARF regulations.


Physical Demands: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk & hear. The employee is often required to sit or stand for long periods of time, reach, bend, & move about the facility. Normal, corrective vision range, ability to see color & to distinguish letters, numbers, & symbols. Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry fifty (50) pounds.


Education, Experience:
SERV SAFE TRAINING within one year of hire date. Cooking experience.
