Kitchen Supervisor starts at $15.00 Per Hour. 

Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:

• Train new hires and delegate tasks.
• Lead weekly meetings, review team performance and provide feedback and suggestions.
• Observe patient food intake and report to dietician.
• Prepare large (30+ persons) meals, following recipes and determining group food quantities.
• Supervise food production, ensure menus are followed and control food portions.
• Assist dietician in food selection, preparation, or menu planning, based upon nutritional needs and established guidelines.
• Analyze menus, standardize recipes, and test new products.
• Schedule for all kitchen staff employees.
• Input Meal count sheets on SmartSheet daily.
• Ensure maintenance of a clean and sanitized kitchen in compliance with all health codes.
• Maintain organization in all storage areas, take weekly inventory and place food orders.
• Work with Corporate Food Service on distributing food surveys.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.

Technical Competencies:

Good Hygiene. Cleanliness of the kitchen. Portion control. Knowledge of CARF regulations.

The employee is often required to sit or stand for long periods of time, reach, bend, & move about the facility. Normal, corrective vision range, ability to see color & to distinguish letters, numbers, & symbols. Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry fifty (50) pounds.

Education, Experience:
SERV SAFE TRAINING within one year of hire date. Cooking experience.
