Aero Instruments & Avionics, Inc. is a leader in the commercial aviation repair market, and we are seeking an Electronics Technician to join our growing team in Depew, NY.
An Electronics Technician is responsible for the repair of electronic instrumentation and aircraft components. In this position, you will be testing, troubleshooting, and repairing various avionics components in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform the service work required for maintenance of a variety of avionics components
- Utilize various types of specialized test equipment to diagnose issues with aircraft components
- Interpret schematics, drawings, manuals, and instructions to properly perform duties
- Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using hand tools or soldering irons
- Document and report repair work using company software
- Interact with engineering and quality personnel as required
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- A.A.S. in Electronics or equivalent formal training
- Electronic/mechanical disassembly and reassembly experience
- Soldering experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and outstanding integrity
- Strong technical and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- High-precision soldering experience
- ESD & IPC certification
Additional Information:
- Background check is required
- Must pass a drug test in accordance with FAA drug testing program requirements
- Schedule is 40 hours Monday - Friday 1st or 2nd shift
- Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour DOE

- This position is located in Depew, NY. Relocation assistance is not available.
