JOB SUMMARY 

The Dealer will create and maintain a fun, entertaining, party atmosphere for extended periods of time while dealing various table games. Will provide the best service experience for customers. 

QUALIFICATIONS  

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Proof of experience as a dealer with a licensed casino or completion of an approved training course in card and dice games. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Must possess excellent math skills and have the ability to multi-task. Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public. Conduct assigned game(s) according to established procedures 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

• Complies with Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations, approved internal controls as well as company policies. • Greet each guest with a bright, genuine smile and enthusiastic verbal greeting • Deal Table games and/or Live Poker • Control pace of the game and inform the Supervisor of any request or unusual play • Generate fun and excitement at all times • Exchange cash for gaming chips according to established procedures • Responsible for game protection and game control. • Change over deck of cards or dice, inspect and mix cards. • Verify bank roll fills with the supervisor and security personnel. • Ensure protection of game; maintain continuous inspection of cards or dice, ensure betting in compliance with gate rules and minimums set. • Close game, sort cards, balance rack, count chips, and sign off with the supervisor. • Assist guests with questions on casino activities or refer to appropriate personnel. • Other duties as assigned. 

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS  

• Must be able to stand and deal for extended periods of time • Must be able to consistently meet the appearance and uniform standards for this position • Responds to visual and aural cues • Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate cards • Must be able to reach, bend, twist, turn, grab, grip, sort and stack • Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator. • Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, strong odors, dust, loud noises and bright lights. 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: 

Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission. Must qualify for and may be required to obtain and maintain an Indiana Horse Racing Commission License.
