Data Scientist

Seeking for a Data Scientist in Basking Ridge, NJ, or Irving - Dallas, Texas. It's remote for right now and it may be two days on-site in NJ or Dallas

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent;
• 3+ years experience in practicing machine learning and data science in business; Solid foundational quantitative knowledge and skills; extensive training in math, statistics, physical science, engineering, or other related fields;
• 3+ years of experience in developing models and algorithms independently, writing your own code, developing a strategy for algorithmic experimentation, and deploying the model in production.
• Knowledge of AI/Client models, frameworks(pytorch, tensorflow, etc.) and libraries/packages/APIs (e.g., sci-kit).
• Experience in data management and data analysis skills. Strong expertise in SQL skills.
• Hands-on computing/programming skills; proficient in Python, R, and Linux Shell script

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A Master or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field is preferred;
• 2+ years of experience in scaling AI in areas like personalization, Deep learning, NLP, computer vision, Generative AI, etc.
• Ability to explain both the code and the underlying math used in algorithms/models.
• Experience in both batch and streaming models in production.
• Experience in Hadoop, GCP, AWS, or other distributed computing services.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good cross-functional collaboration skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
