Join General Dynamics IT (GDIT) and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The Submarine Sail Antenna program is seeking a Technical Editor to join us in Philadelphia, PA.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Developing, tracking, editing, and coordinating the development of technical documentation (i.e. Technical Manuals, Allowance Parts List (APL), Drawings, etc.) for military and/or scientific uses.

Playing a big role in the development and review technical documentation related to submarine programs life cycle support.

Coordinating with engineering staff to review material for obsolescence and changes.

Providing leadership briefs to internal and external organizations.

Managing engineering configurations for shipboard technical installations.

Qualifications:

BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

5+ years experience with the development of technical documentation for life cycle support.

Experience coordination with program leads and staff on program execution.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with the government ILS systems such as ICAPS, CDMD-OA, drawing reviews (ASME Y14 standards), technical writing experience
