JobSummary We are seeking a dedicated RadiologyTechnician to join our team. This role offers theopportunity to work weekend shifts providingflexibility and a perfect fit for professionals who prefer workingoutside of traditional weekday hours. This role involves workingclosely with physicians and other healthcare professionals toprovide accurate and timelyresults.

JobDuties

  • Prepareand position patients for imaging selecting exposure factors withprecision.
  • Perform Xrays and EKGs asassigned adhering to company technicalprocedures.
  • Prepare and administercontrast media and medications in compliance with state and federalregulations.
  • Observe patients duringprocedures reporting any abnormalities and recommending updates toprotocols as needed.
  • Followradiation safety protocols to prevent unnecessary exposure topatients.
  • Ensure the timelysubmission of highquality images and documentation to PACSincluding proper lead markers and patientdata/history.
  • Monitor equipmentfunctionality promptly reporting any malfunctions andlocking/tagging out equipment whennecessary.
  • Maintain a clean andorganized department including procedurerooms.
  • Release images tostatelicensed radiologists or cardiologists forinterpretation.
  • Maintain accuratedocumentation of servicesperformed.
  • Uphold professionalism inactions communication and personalappearance.
  • Perform additionalduties asassigned.


Qualifications

  • CurrentARRT certification.
  • Valid IndianaXray state license.
  • Ability to workindependently while contributing to a teamenvironment.
  • Experience in aclinical setting is preferred.
  • CPRcertification is required.
  • Strongtechnical skills attention to detail and excellent communicationand interpersonalabilities.
  • WorkSchedule: Fridays to Sundays 8 or 12hour shiftsavailable. Flexibility in hours to meet client needs isessential.
  • Compensation:Starting pay ranges from $32.00 to $35.00 per hour based onexperience.

Education
