As a Patient Access Assistant, you are often the first point of contact for our patients. In this highly visibility role, you will welcome patients and check them in for their appointment.
Basic Responsibilities:
Verify patient information. Verify insurance information. Process complex documents checking for accuracy and completeness. Schedule appointments or transmit information to other departments. Obtain and identify information necessary to produce billable patient accounts. Manage the switchboard. Exercise professional judgment and apply detailed knowledge of facility procedures related to the work performed.Schedule:
Fulltime | 80 hours per 2-week pay period. 8:45am-5:15pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and 10:30am-7pm Wednesday.Pay:
$17.57 per hour however, we pay more for experience.Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year clerical, administrative, or customer service experience -OR- 1 year of prior scheduling, billing, patient access, accounts receivable, and/or collections experience.CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
