DUTIES

Responsibilities:

Under the general direction of our Floor Managers, Primary Dining Room Server responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the highest quality of customer service is available for our guests
  • Set up of the dining room tables for shifts
  • Serve guests meals
  • Cleaning of dining room, or other areas as directed by management.
  • Assisting with the preparation of desserts, salads and condiments for service.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director.
  • Work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment
  • Demonstrating genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing rapport with the guest and delivering an exceptional dining experience
  • Guiding guests through menus while demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food, beverages and ingredients
  • Taking accurate orders and partnering with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests& expectations
  • Providing friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel like they are at home

  • Taking new orders and receiving payment


  • Pre-Bussing tables


  • Preparing some food, including soups, beverages, and desserts, as well as setting up and restocking.


  • Keeping carpets and floor clean and clear of debris


  • Maintaining great customer service to ensure the WOW factor"


  • Satisfying guest complaints quickly, politely, and quietly


  • Upselling to achieve the highest guest check average possible


  • Performing any and all additional duties assigned by the management team

As a Restaurant Food Server, you will be expected to provide the best possible service to our customers. This will include using good manners, tact, and mature judgment at all times when serving our guests, as well as providing prompt and friendly service.
