RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Med reminders

  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (, walks etc.)

  • Assist clients with personal care and hygiene, such as; bathing, bed baths, incontinence care..etc

  • Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises

  • Help the client with meal prep and some feeding

  • Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, vacuum, clean kitchen\bathroom, laundry

  • Companionship, talking, watching a movie together, puzzles

  • Report any unusual incidents to nurses,the office and family members

  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous caregiver experience of at least a year, or HHA

  • Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification, but will provide

  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

  • Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner

  • Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills

  • Physical endurance to complete required tasks

  • Transportation, car insurance, and Drivers License
