Job Description:

SUMMARY:

The primary mission of the North Fort Hood (NFH) Site Support Office is to support mobilization (MOB), demobilization (DEMOB), and training unit’s transitioning North Fort Hood. To accomplish this mission, this office will assist mobilization, demobilization, and training unit’s facilities prior to while at Fort Hood. Once the unit arrives at Fort Hood, this office will assist units with facility requirements to aid in mobilizing and demobilizing. To provide outstanding customer support to everyone in a timely manner with respect and courtesy. Ensure satisfaction is obtained by every customer through our service rendered and supplies issued. To make ourselves available for any need that arises.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Maintains Assumption of Command Order and a DA Form 7, authorizing an individual from the permanent party units to sign for contents and keys to billets, admin buildings and arms room.

·Primary swipe card operator.

·Serve as administrator for Key Trak computer by programing all perishables and editing the program creating and or deleting key IDs into the system and reporting all changes to the Site Support Supervisor.

·Maintain files for building reservation and cancellation orders.

·Maintain key property book hand receipt for DPTMS buildings through DPW Real Property.

·Maintain various reports and spreadsheets (building status reports, etc.).

·Prepare, maintain, and file issuing building hand receipts and cleared building hand receipts.

·Assure that the appropriate forms are initiated for reimbursement to the government for keys, padlocks, and rekey that are lost or damaged through negligence.

·Perform additional duties in support of customer assigned by site support lead.

·Able to work a flexible work week.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Maintain CAC card (Common Access Card).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum requirements:

·Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, and work under deadlines.

·Must be able to devise steps necessary to complete tasks.

·Ability to read, write, and understand English.

·Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Outlook

·Excellent personal communication skills

·High school graduate or equivalent (GED).

·Knowledgeable Microsoft Office software.

·Must have valid state driver’s license and be able to maintain post driving privileges. 

·Must be able obtain/maintain Common Access Card

Preferred: 

·Prior work with military/government preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, comprehend and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails, and correspondence from inside the organization as well as from external sources. Ability to effectively respond, communicate and present information to customers, internal and external, clients and other employees in the organization. Ability to interpret instructions and information and explain to others in the performance of this job in English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT/HOURS:

Job is performed indoors and outdoors and will be exposed to prevailing weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may vary from moderate to high, depending on location. Able to work a flexible work week. Will work a -hour work week, with a possibility to work weekends and holidays.

EXPECTATIONS:

Employee is expected to dress appropriately and be punctual for their shift. The employee must be dependable and have strong communication skills while meeting project deadlines. Must maintain accountability of equipment.
