  • Duration: Contract to Possible Hire 

  • Location: Savannah, GA 

  • Schedule: 1st shift, 5:45 am- 4:15 pm 

What’s a typical day as an Exp Tech I - Calibrations? You’ll will: 

  • Utilizing various skills, assemble and maintain complex test lab fixtures and equipment. 

  •  Assemble, inspect, and repair complex test articles and specimens. 

  • Assist with test executions. 

  • Comply with safety rules and procedures. Use protective equipment as required and be alert for unsafe conditions. Address unsafe conditions before putting people or property at risk. 

  • Begin to learn the experimental test process and internal lab SOPs and WMs. 

  • Learn various systems and capabilities used throughout the lab. 

  • Communicate as required to receive and understand work assignments. Sometimes coordinating directly with test engineering. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

  • Provide status to their direct supervisor of progress or help needed on assigned projects. 

 

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 

  • Previous experience with MS Office software - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. 

  • Candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Candidates with previous experience with calibrated tools and instruments will be strongly considered.
