Triple Crossing Beer at our Midlothian location is looking for a talented Shift Lead to join our team. As a Shift Lead, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team and learn modern brewing techniques while maintaining our focus on classic beer styles.

This position is a hybrid position that incorporates both management and tipped positions.

Job Responsibilities (Management) (Include, but not limited to):

  • Responsible for maintaining daily operations of their specific location and empowering the FOH team. Make sure to create and maintain a healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Find and implement ways to make the taproom/restaurant operate in an efficient manner.
  • Responsible for hiring and training new or current FOH staff.
  • Serves as support staff for FOH employees (if needed), which can include bartending, serving, running, bussing, and hosting.
  • Be able to deal and rectify any customer complaints.

Job Responsiblities (Tipped Position) (Include, but not limited to):

  • Providing a premium customer experience in a fast-paced, bustling environment; Ensuring all guests are welcomed upon arrival and are provided with a proper overview of the brewery’s menu and draft list.
  • Providing the service of beer and food in both a table and bar service environment
  • Keeping the tasting room pristine, via performing daily cleaning list activities, along with opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensuring the can fridge and merchandise wall is consistently stocked.
  • Serving both onsite private and public events, including for example: corporate events, beer dinners

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Have one year of management experience
  • Weekend availability and flexible schedule
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Passion for craft beer and the brewing industry
