Material Handler

ProSource Industries specializes in the manufacturing of precision components for Wire Harnesses, Cable Assemblies and Electrical Control Panels for OEM'S. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Material Handler with Forklift experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials within our warehouse or production facility. This role requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
  • Prepare materials for shipment, including packing, labeling, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
