Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for a rewarding opportunity to work with students and make a difference in their lives? We have an exciting position available in the Bay City, TX area and surrounding regions
Job Description:
As a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic services to students with communication disorders. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create personalized intervention plans, enabling students to improve their communication skills and succeed academically.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for each student.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
