Job Description
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the product line to achieve business objectives and revenue targets
- Develop and execute a comprehensive portfolio strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives and market needs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the market.
- Take initiative to achieve the product line’s financial performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and R&D, to drive product development and launches
- Set pricing and positioning strategies for the product line to maximize profitability and market share
- Manage the entire product lifecycle on product enhancements, updates, and retirements to maximize product value and profitability
- Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the product line, identifying areas for improvement and growth
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the development and launch of products
- Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and innovations to drive product line competitiveness
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product line performance and efficiency Lead and motivate a team to deliver results and achieve success in the market
- Assist in identifying and developing effective product marketing and launch strategies for effective product, promotion, placement, and price offering to the customer.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a relevant field. MBA is preferred
- 15+ years of experience in project management, including 5 years in a leadership role at least, the experience in Automotive and Commercial Vehicle industry is preferred
- Proven experience in product management, marketing, or business development.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive product portfolio optimization and achieve profitability goals
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Willingness to travel.
Languages
- English mandatory. Other language skills are helpful.
Salary range: 117K - 147K DOE
