IT Director

Overview:

A multi-plant manufacturer is looking for a DIRECT HIRE IT Director to sit onsite in the Goodland, IN area and oversee the company's lean IT organization. This is a privately owned company with about 400 employees across three different facilities in IN and KY. This role will report directly to the COO and will be responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions (ERP, business applications, infrastructure and security) and IT strategy at the company. Upon joining, the first 18-24 months will be spent spearheading and leading the organization through the implementation of a new ERP solution, Infor Syteline/CloudSuite Industrial. The ideal candidate will have an in depth understanding of manufacturing and have been through successful ERP implementations in this industry. The IT Director must be willing to act as the ERP Project/Program Manager throughout the implementation to ensure its success, as well as help with the change management efforts across the organization. Once implementation is complete, this person will shift focus to getting full utilization out of the newly implemented ERP and finding ways to drive continuous improvement across the organization utilizing IT systems.
