Brew Crew Opportunity
Our US team is seeking a Sr. Demand Planner at our Roasting and Distribution Facility located in Camarillo, CA to oversees many of the daily operations of Supply Chain department, coordinating efforts with the home office and global management team, while always supporting our Guiding Principles.
Key Responsibilities The Sr. Demand Planner is responsible for supporting and implementing demand plans and processes and driving the S&OP process to support the successful growth and operation of the Camarillo, Roasting and Distribution facility. The position reports to the Sr. Director, Americas Supply Chain & Customer Service.
- Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf products, considering historical sales data, market trends, seasonality, and other relevant factors.
- Worked with stakeholders to implement the S&OP process in US and alignment to the Global S&OP cadence.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, balancing the need for product availability with cost control and waste reduction. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, production, logistics and procurement to gather input and align demand forecasts with the company's overall business strategy.
- Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and use this information to refine demand forecasts.
- Develop
strategies to mitigate the impact of demand variability, such as promotional
events, seasonal fluctuations, or unexpected disruptions. - Track
key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and inventory management
and implement corrective actions when necessary. - Identify
opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain to enhance
efficiency and reduce costs. - Communicate
demand forecasts and related information effectively to internal stakeholders
and external suppliers.
Your Ingredients
- Bachelor's
degree in supply chain management, business, logistics, or a related field is
typically required. - Proven
experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related role,
preferably within the food and beverage industry. - Strong
analytical and quantitative skills to interpret data and make informed
decisions. - Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various
teams and suppliers. - Strong
problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve supply
chain challenges. - Attention
to detail is crucial in managing inventory levels accurately. - Ability
to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust demand forecasts accordingly. - Effective
time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet
deadlines. - A
strong understanding of coffee and tea products, as well as the specific
demands of the industry, can be a valuable asset. - Working
knowledge of MS Dynamics, Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI. - English
proficiency required.
