Our Caregivers are the heart and soul of what we do. At ComForCare, we like to celebrate successes and have fun while building meaningful relationships. We have both full and part-time immediate openings in the Cheboygan Area.

Opening #1

We have an immediate opening for a caring and compassionate in-home caregiver for a client on the North end of Mullet Lake in the Topinabee area. We are looking to fill a 4 hour shift, 4 days per week. Shifts are as follows: Thurs 1pm-5pm, Fri-Sun 10am-2pm

Wage: $14/hr weekday - $15/hr weekend

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help the client stay independent and in their own homes.

• Provide assistance with personal care (dressing, showering, etc.).

• Handle meal planning and preparation.

• Properly manage household needs.

• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
Opening #2

We have an immediate opening for a caring and compassionate team member to provide in-home overnight care (8p-8a) in a well-kept home for a quadriplegic client in Cheboygan. This shift contains downtime between the periods of 10:00p and 6:00a which would allow the caregiver time to sleep. We offer flexible scheduling - work as little as one or as many as 4 shifts per week. You provide us your availability and we will schedule around you.

Wage: $13 - $15/hr

What you’ll be doing:

Assisting the client with his nighttime routine (meal prep, bathing, toileting, preparation for next day) from 8p-10p Adjusting the client during the night, as needed. The client is currently turned once per night, at approximately 3:00am. Assisting the client with morning routine (toileting, meal prep, dressing, loading into vehicle) from 6a-8a This shift contains downtime between the periods of 10:00p and 6:00a which would allow the caregiver time to sleep. We're looking for someone with:

A heart for caring. A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible. Access to reliable transportation. Previous experience as a Caregiver in homes or senior communities is a bonus, but not required. Your safety is our top priority. We provide COVID-19 training and personal protective equipment (PPE) to all employees.
* A urine drug screen and background check is performed prior to an offer of employment. Compensación: $0.14 - $0.17 per hour
