Your Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Consultation: Engage with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and educate them on necessary and recommended maintenance and repairs.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with customers through honest and transparent communication.
  • Service Recommendations: Provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repair needs, helping customers make informed decisions.
  • Work Order Management: Translate customer-reported problems into actionable work orders for our technicians.
  • Parts Coordination: Coordinate with Al West Parts Specialists to ensure timely delivery of parts and efficient repairs.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all automotive work meets our high-quality standards.
  • Documentation: Properly document all customer interactions, work orders, invoices, and related records.
  • Invoicing and Payments: Handle invoicing and collect payments for services rendered.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints to ensure a positive experience.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate customer records and enter data into computer databases.
  • Service Scheduling: Efficiently manage customer appointments and technician availability.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Professional Excellence: Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor aligned with company standards.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on Nissan service training to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Additional Support: Perform other tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the service department.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum three years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in automotive service advisory or a consultative sales environment.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise advice.
  • License: Valid driver's license with no suspensions within the last five years.
