The Marcum Human Resources team in the New York Region is looking for a Human Resources Intern to support the Human Resources Managers with administrative duties, running reports and ad hoc projects. The Human Resources Intern must be a self-starter who is very detail oriented and has the ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively. In addition, the Human Resources Intern should have an interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources and able to work from either the East Hanover, NJ or Marlton,NJ office 3 days a week. Internships require a 24 hour weekly commitment.

Responsibilities
Data entry into the HRIS system (including but not limited to new hire information, transfers, personnel changes, and terminations).
Assist with onboarding.
Assist in performance management cycles.
Support the Firm’s recruiting efforts.
Ad hoc reporting and filing.
Assist in local office initiatives
Assist with other ad hoc HR administrative duties.

Qualifications
Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree focusing on Human Resources or related field, or recent graduate with a degree on Human Resources
The ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook preferred but not required
