Position: CMA / Certified Medical Assistant


Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Check out professional for our Physician Assistant. You will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals. Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.45 - $16.06 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 41 per week

Responsibilities:
  • Using an EMR
  • Answering phones
  • Calling patients back with test results
  • Ordering Labs/Testing
  • Faxing/Copying
  • Prior Authorizations for testing
  • Future cross training as a runner
Experience:
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Multi Tasking is a must
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
