Lawton, OK • ID: H1280A • Part-TimeThe Graduate Assistant positions are available to support faculty on campus. Job duties of the graduate assistant include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist with maintenance of student files and rosters Type, compose, and proofread correspondence, reports, schedules, or other materials Work in student information systems and databases for student file maintenance Assist visitors to the office with general questions Perform regular website, and digital display updates Maintain confidentiality of student records according to FERPA Perform other related duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of Excel and Word Accurate demonstration of English spelling, punctuation, and grammar Excellent interpersonal and communication skills using a variety of communication channels (i.e., telephone, email, social media and in-person) Willingness to take initiative Ability to adhere to strict standards of confidentiality Good academic standing and enrolled in a Cameron University graduate program Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week within Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5p.m.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic understanding of Microsoft Access databases Experience with digital media design Experience with Adobe applications (Acrobat, PhotoShop, InDesign) Ability to perform regular website, social media, and digital display updatesINSTITUTION:
