Analytics Intern

Prepare operational reports from the bank reporting system, Business Analytics.
Assist with researching ways to mechanize and consolidate operational reports
Assist in the preparation of requests for internal and external audits and exams.
Shadow members of the bank product and operations team as they perform other duties.
Assist with special projects.
Exposure to various accounting and industry software including Business Analytics, Prologue, Workday Financials and Microsoft Power BI
Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Education
Actively pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in either Data Analytics, Business, Accounting, Finance or similar field having completed Junior year at a minimum.
Satisfactory completion of relevant courses with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
A basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
Skills & Abilities Required
Professional, energetic, outgoing, and self-motivated.
Strong work ethic and eager to learn new tasks.
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, with skills in Access or SQL a plus.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
An interest in working in the financial sector.
Must possess strong communication skills – written and verbal.
Must be highly organized, detail oriented, analytical, and a self-starter.
Flexibility and adaptability to approach different challenges within project work.
Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
