Silver Airways currently provides more routes within Florida and to the Bahamas than any other airline; having recently acquired Seaborne Airways, based in San Juan, PR, we need you to be the face of our company in the eyes of our valued customers. As a customer service agent, you are the first line of contact in assisting customers with luggage, checking in, selling tickets, and more


Day-to-day Responsibilities:

Checking customers in for flights, checking customer luggage in, selling tickets, making reservations, boarding flights at the departure gateMeeting arriving flights, assisting customers with claims for delayed or damaged baggage, responding to customer inquiries, reconciling ticket sales and closing out cash drawers/accounting functionsProviding general customer assistance, complying with all safety procedures and station policiesProviding accurate gate, flight arrival and departure information, as well as answer general inquiresAssist special needs passengers, resolve customer complaints and other duties as delegatedMaintain thorough knowledge and handling of unaccompanied minors, law enforcement officers, Hazmat, and airfreight acceptance guidelinesCommunicate clearly and accurately with customers as well as ground and aircraft personnelMiscellaneous duties as assigned by Manager and SupervisorConduct other duties as assigned


Minimum and Preferred Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to work any shift in a 24-hour period, including days, nights, weekends and holidaysMust be flexible, willing and able to prioritize Silver work scheduleMust be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentMust have professional appearanceExcellent attendance and punctuality requiredMust be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen, and FBI Fingerprint & Criminal History checkMust own and be able to maintain a current driver's licenseCurrent U.S. Passport or equivalent with applicable Visas


Education and Experience:

At least 1 year customer service requiredAviation experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedlyWorking Conditions: Normal working conditions absent extreme factors
