WE LOVE OUR WORK.

Responsible for assisting with the maintenance and care of the track surface for racing and training purposes. Assists with maintaining the safety lane for racing and training purposes. Assists with preserving the paddock hills from ruts and wash outs. Assists with removal snow in a timely manner. Drives vehicles including, but not limited to trucks, graders, tractors, water truck, skid steer, and front-end loader. Ensures horse ambulance is ready and functioning for daily racing. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum one (1) year of facilities maintenance experience in racing or similar work environment required. Must have a valid Driver’s License. - Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English. Must have working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and/or finishing trades. Must be skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues. Ability to safely operate all equipment, including automobiles, tractors, skid steers, and front-end loaders.
