Job Overview

Summary/Objective
The Loaner/Rental Agent ensures that customers receive and return courtesy loaner and rental vehicles in accordance with company, third parties and manufacturer's policies. Essential Functions Ensures that loaner vehicles are checked out and returned according to company and third party policies Makes sure that ready and returned vehicles are arranged in showroom, service or designated area according to company policy Documents any required maintenance for returned vehicles and arrange for such work Drives vehicles to and from showroom, exterior vehicle display areas, service as needed Greets customers in a friendly and professional manner Ensures that customers are charged appropriately for any damage, moving violations, tickets and tolls Files documentation with insurance or state or federal agency and in accordance with company policies Assists in maintaining inventory to satisfy customer requests Completes required reports daily, weekly, monthly and on request Establishes and maintains good working relationships with other departments Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with regulations that impact the company's business Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection Understands and follows work rules and procedures Follows all attendance and punctuality standards with adherences to timekeeping standards including recording time of arrival, departure and all breaks. Follows lawful directions from supervisors Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements Attends company meetings as required. High School Diploma or equivalent; six months or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education and Experience
Associates ( degree or equivalent; one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a customer service, retail or rental car company desired. Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Certification/Licenses/Registrations)
