Seattle, United States Amazon.com Services LLC Full time
Are you a systems and framework thinker looking to influence design at scale? Come join the Devices & Services Design Group at Amazon. Our team drives design innovation, delivering Echo, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, and more. We work on the Alexa app, designing on-the-go productivity and entertainment experiences. Together, we’re designing the future by building a strong design foundation to power our customer experiences.

We are looking for a Full Stack Principal UX Designer to drive the definition and design for Alexa's core multimodal experiences across devices, encompassing all new and existing Echo devices, Fire TV, and Alexa Auto experiences. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of world-class multi-disciplinary designers to invent and deliver UX frameworks and features that align and extend the Alexa experience across all Echo devices. You will help share the design system to external developer partners via Amazon developer portal. You will help define the end-to-end developer journey from discovery to engagement to managing content built for our Alexa, Fire, and Auto devices. You will work alongside research, product, and engineering partners across the organization to build customer-focused solutions at scale. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. You must be able to lead projects forward in the face of complexity and ambiguity.

A day in the life
You will create a variety of deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, user-flows, high-fidelity mockups and specs to communicate design thinking to senior leadership, engineering and product partners at every phase of product development.
