ASRC Agile Decision Sciences is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy Ship Self-Defense System in Moorestown, NJ.
Responsibilities: Work in a collaborative team using agile software development methodology, performing the following tasks: Participates in software requirements review, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review, and software acceptance reviews. Research problems and develop solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related engineering discipline US Citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance.2-4 years' experience in software development or maintenanceAbility to collaborate with a diverse teamExperience developing software with Java or C++Familiar with Agile development methodologiesFamiliar with Object Oriented design/development including the employment of Design Patterns to facilitate the utilization of software insulation techniques and pluginsFamiliar with Linux and UNIX development and test environmentsFamiliar with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse or VSCodeFamiliar with UML syntax and its use in Model-based tools like RapsodyFamiliar with Git version control systemFamiliar with issue tracking systems like JIRA or TrelloPreferred Requirements:
Familiarity with the following XUnit architecture testing fir unit testing like Google Test, jUnit, cppUnit Lite.Tcl/TkAdaAtlassian tool suite including Jira, BitBucket, and ConfluenceData Distribution Service (DDS)DevSecOps and Automation tool experience like SonarQube and Jenkins-
