Overview-

The Amusement Manager Trainee will be prepared for management responsibilities in the Company. The Amusement Manager Trainee is responsible for gaining experience and knowledge in the field they have been assigned to so that they become capable of a managerial position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Sets performance goals with the upper management.
• Learn company policies that affect the department/business.
• Monitors progress performance with key trainers and upper management.
• Achieve department sales goals through the efficient execution of Company policies.
•Maintain a floor presence of at least 90% of shift, providing sales & trouble shooting support.
•Control payout ratio by monitoring & auditing pay out numbers per company standard, instructing & coaching staff on necessary adjustments.
•Ensure all machine malfunctions/repairs are reported to facilities mechanics, follow up as needed
•Conducts tills checks, refunds, credit and ticket adjustments in accordance with the company policy.
•Holds weekly staff meetings with department supervisors to discuss and resolve any issues relating to operations, staffing, customer service, etc.
•Complete all amusement reports & audits as assigned by corporate office in a timely manner.
•Create department schedule, task assignments, & issue breaks/lunches.
•Conduct & monitor department inventory, submitting reports on weekly & monthly basis.
•Train, coach, & issue disciplinary actions for department staff.
•Place monthly product order for store supplies, crane plush, & redemption prizes.
•Open/Close store & department following company guidelines.
•Cross train and maintain a basic understanding of all store departments.
•Assist guest at POS & game floor, resolving customer complaints and escalations.

Qualifications
Associates degree and 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment, retail or hospitality industries but not required.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee is required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms. Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
